Trigger Storm is a free recoil-driven arcade shooter you can play directly in your browser on Swipe2Play. Every shot moves your floating weapon, so timing and aim decide whether you clear the neon room. The mobile app also plays offline once downloaded.
How to play
1Choose a weapon, then click, tap, press Space or press Enter to fire.
2Every shot kicks the floating gun away from its muzzle and spins it — recoil is your only movement.
3Time each shot so the barrel faces an enemy while the kick sends you toward safer space.
4Clear every enemy to climb into the next room; later rooms add hazards and tougher enemy types.
5Protect your three hearts and break open crates for weapons, shields, lives and special shots.
Tips to score higher
Watch both ends of the gun: the muzzle sets the bullet direction, while the recoil sends you the opposite way.
Do not spam. A mistimed second shot can reverse a clean arc and throw you into enemy fire.
Use cyan rails and bounce platforms to redirect momentum instead of fighting every drift with another shot.
Respect laser telegraphs from turrets and snipers; move before trying to line up the perfect hit.
A shooter where firing is movement
Trigger Storm turns the most basic shooter action into the whole control system. Your weapon floats inside a vertical neon arena, gravity pulls it down and each shot creates a jump in the opposite direction. You are aiming at enemies and steering your own trajectory with the same click.
That creates a readable rhythm: wait for the barrel to rotate into a useful angle, fire, follow the arc and decide whether the next shot should attack, brake or launch you away from danger.
One-button recoil movement with click, tap or keyboard input.
Room-by-room enemy waves with moving, breakable and bounce hazards.
Weapon drops, shields, extra lives and special projectiles.
Free browser play plus offline play in the mobile app.
Rooms, weapons and a run that keeps escalating
Early rooms teach the physics against basic floating pistols and bounce pads. The run then introduces blades, shotgunners, turrets, snipers, bombers and shielded guardians, with denser layouts and faster telegraphs.
Crates can change the run by restoring a heart, blocking a hit or swapping in a different weapon. Credits earned after the storm unlock more starting loadouts, so each attempt can have a different recoil, fire rate and shot pattern.
